  1. Completely opensource.
    With asset editing tool. Need to test which script it uses and how well it can customize for different genres of games. (Pro of having a very good animation import/export scene edit tool, compared to the outdated Ogre exporters plugin.)
    Seems by description it favours FPS which very few students is likely to take as project.
  2. Has bullet physics embedded. Can load FMOD (They removed it as default for MIT license) Compatible with Oculus Rift
