Goals:

  • Understand how to design a product, including structural design and assembly methods

  • Realize your product concept through modeling and 3D printing,and interactive functionality.


Tasks:

  • Modify the head shape of the robot (facial expressions, ears...)

  • Complete the assembly of pan&tilt structure

Assembly Steps

  • Notes

  • Should avoid turning the servo by hand without power ( as doing so will change the limiting position of the servo, which can lead to problem in the assembled structure )

  • Reserve enough space and wire length. Otherwise, it will limit the servo's rotation


  • assemble the robot

  • assemble the head and stand to the tilt structure

  • assemble the base box
  1. PCB
  2. 4 columns
  3. display fixture(with small bumps)
  4. 4 sided acrylic board

  • assemble the geared rotation platform and the tilt structure on the top cover
  • align the entire top part with the four columns, and insert and secure firmly
