Objective:

  • To reflect on your individual contribution

Requirements:

  1. Your individual reflection on the whole final project includes three aspects:
    1. Contribution
    2. Collaborative experience
    3. Lessons learned
  2. Contribution
    1. In a team project, each team member is expected to work independently to achieve his/her own goal, and interdependently with other team members to achieve a common goal. The individual goal should contribute to the team’s goal. Hence, contribution from a team member can be divided into “Independent” and “Interdependent” ones.
    2. You are expected to elaborate on what you have contributed independently and interdependently, with support of materials/artifacts you collected/created during the whole project period. You should provide links to pages relating to your contribution, and elaborate accordingly on how and what you contributed.
  3. Collaborative experience
    1. You are expected to answer the following questions in this aspect:
      1. What is your experience in collaborating with other team members?
      2. Any good or bad experiences? Please elaborate.
      3. What have you done to improve the collaborative experience and any results? What would you do in the future if you encounter similar situations?
      4. How did this experience compare to previous ones? How do you account for any difference you have this time as compared to your previous ones?
      5. What are you going to do to make it better next time?
    2. You should describe specific examples on how you collaborate with others, and comments on depth of collaboration.
  4. Lessons learned
    1. You are expected to answer the following questions in this aspect:
      1. How do you relate what you learned from this project with those you learned from your previous studies/projects?
      2. How do you see your growth during this project?
      3. What do you perceive you have gained through this project as valuable in your future development?
  5. Your individual reflection should be limited to 1000 words, and should include links to pages in your team space (or individual space) as support. All artifacts created by you or your team should have their own copies in your team space or individual space, and should be properly linked to, most likely from the Backlog. Hence, for artifacts which were created by you or your team, please do not link to web sites outside of www.designandmake.org (e.g. video sharing platform, web-based shared drawing tools, etc), or they will not be considered.
