Objective:

  • To prepare final presentation, video walkthrough and "How to make"

Requirements:

  1. (Assignment 3.1 - Video Walkthrough) Prepare a video walk-through demonstrating key features of your working functional prototype. The video is expected to be within 10min.
  2. (Assignment 3.2 - Final Presentation) Final presentation with the following contents (within 15 mins):
    1. Concept, motivation and references
    2. Technical explorations for realizing the functional prototype
    3. Technical details of functional prototype, including technical details on design of major component, protocol(s) involved and internal logic.
    4. How the whole design works and key scenarios (through a video walkthrough)
    5. Summary on technical issues (if any) of the completed functional prototype
  3. Live demonstration of the system after the Final Presentation
  4. (Assignment 3.3 - "How to make") Create a “How to make” page with details for others to understand details of your design and how to reproduce it, This should have necessary information on how to reproduce the entire system from anyone outside of this subject, and must be self-contained and self-explanatory. Please refer to https://www.instructables.com/A-Servo-based-4-legged-Walker/ as an example, and guidelines from https://www.instructables.com/How-to-make-a-great-Instructable/ and https://projecthub.arduino.cc/Arduino_Genuino/how-to-submit-content-on-arduino-project-hub-dc1823. The page should include the following contents:
    1. What it is about and motivations on designing this system
    2. How it works and how it is constructed/assembled, with photos and videos
    3. Resources (including components list and source files), instructions on how to obtain them (e.g. for components, how can others get it) and instructions on how to reproduce your system. All resources must be available for download from the page.
    4. Component lists (with links to online store on where each component is purchased), production instructions and cost estimation for full implementation in the two venues

  • one sub-grade deduction per calendar day for late submission (that is, A+ becomes A, and A- becomes B+)
